The Position

The  Account Coordinator (AC) is responsible for gathering assets from customers, using web-based content management tools to place media on our websites, optimizing media for performance, and reporting on campaign results, as well as assisting with up-selling to customers. Through close collaboration with customers and the sales organization, the Account Coordinator implements, monitors, and optimizes customer contracts to ensure customer success. This position reports to the Director of Customer Success. 

Note: This position is open to remote workers.

Essential Functions:

  • Customer Support

    • Work proactively with the Sales organization and customers for contract and campaign fulfillment

    • Provide excellent customer service

    • Troubleshoot and resolve problems on behalf of customers

    • Utilize analytics tools to generate reports on clients' product listing and media campaigns

  • Media & Product Listing Coordination

    • Work with customers and team members to ensure the timely construction of advertising copy, images, and other assets

    • Optimize the effectiveness of advertising copy and assets provided by customers

    • Create and edit marketing copy to be placed on CN websites and email campaigns

    • Monitor product listing campaigns on an established schedule, checking the ongoing accuracy of site appearance and performance of campaigns; proactively communicate with customers about the status and any potential optimization

    • Coordination of product files, which includes tracking product listing contracts, proactively working between customers and internal teams, communicating completion of product listing updates to customers, and communicating during the course of the contract.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interact and collaborate in a proactive, positive manner with clients and other team members and departments

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance client / internal requests

  • Ability to quickly learn online software packages such as Omniture, Salesforce, GoodData, etc.

  • Ability to manage time across multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines

  • Excellent writing and verbal skills including business e-mail and phone etiquette

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Biology or related field preferred; or equivalent experience

  • Interest in customer service, sales, and digital marketing

  • Recent bench experience in the life sciences, a definite plus

  • Familiarity with kits, reagents, equipment, and other laboratory/life science research products, strongly preferred

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Basic understanding of HTML and web technologies strongly preferred

  • Basic understanding of online advertising and terminology, a definite plus

  • Basic understanding of image manipulation software, a definite plus
